2012 Winter Faceoff Clinic Refund Policy
Burning River Lacrosse's clinics have a limited refund policy. Clinic fee refunds will only be granted on the basis of medical emergencies / conditions. All refund requests must be in writing and a letter / documentation from the doctor / hospital of record must accompany the request verifying the medical emergency / condition. Refund requests will be charged a $25 paperwork fee and be prorated based on when they are received.

Note - US Lacrosse Waiver:
All Participants Must have a US lacrosse number in order to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS !
If you do not have a United States Lacrosse Number (not a University School Jersey #) you need to go to www.uslacrosse.org and get one. This is only for our clinics and travel team events. It is not needed for our league.
2012 Winter Faceoff Clinic Mission
Our camps are focused on the goal of improving the camper’s fundamental skills. Our camps are not team camps but skills camps where the vast majority of time is spent teaching techniques and fundamentals in individual or small group sessions.
2012 Winter Faceoff Clinic - Saturday February 25, 2012
Burning River Lacrosse is teaming up with Millon Lacrosse to bring you our 2012 Winter Faceoff Clinic featuring John Schiavone* (2011 Loyola). The event features four 1.5 hour instructional clinics (fundamental to advance techniques) taught by one of the top faceoff men in the country.
Who is John Schiavone?
Coach Schiavone has dominated the college face off scene for the last 3 years. A three time All ECAC selection and All-American, John tallied a .595 Career Face and picked 255 ground balls along the way. As a Junior, John Earned USILA All-America Honorable Mention and was named to the All-ECAC First Team as a specialist following another season as one of the top players at the `X' nationwide... Won 166-of-277 restarts (.599), good for sixth-best in the nation and second amongst players on teams who reached the NCAA Tournament. In his Senior year, John garnered All ECAC as well as making the Top 50 seniors list of 2011.
Enrollment
All BR Lacrosse participants are eligible. However, to ensure quality instruction and maximum participation, each of the four clinics are limited to the first 16 players registering. Please note that all participants Must have a US lacrosse number in order to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS !

Schedules
Complete clinic schedules will be emailed out prior to the session. Note: The schedule is subject to change to accommodate coaches, officials, or the facility’s schedule.
Individual Cost
The Camp costs $30. Note: A $25 processing fee will be assessed to any returned checks.

Registration deadline
Monday, January 30, 2012 or when they sell out whichever comes first. Late registrations are on a case by case basis and will be assessed a $20 surcharge.

Cleveland Multiplex located at 18909 South Miles Parkway, Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44128.

Coaches/Instructors
All instruction will be given by Burning River Lacrosse staff and John Schiavone of Million Lacrosse. Coach Schiavone’s honors include 2010 All American, 3x All ECAC selection (20009, 2010 and 2011), and being named to the 2011 Top 50 seniors list. For his career he won 59.5% of his faceoff while also recording 255 ground balls.
Pinnies/Uniforms
If you have a BR lax pinnie please bring it so everyone matches.
If you do not have a BR Lax pinnie, you are allowed to wear any pinnie you want as long as it is not one of our competitors.
Water
There are limited water fountains at the facilities. Therefore, we ask participants to bring their own water.
Equipment
Each player must bring a full set of equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, athletic cup, mouth piece, and stick) to each session.
Shoes
All the fields are sportsturf. Plan accordingly (sneakers or cleats - soccer type).
Medical Insurance
Burning River does not provide medical insurance. All players must have their own medical insurance.

Weather Policy
We play in all weather. The lone exception is if the facility closes due to a citywide driving ban. Should the facilities be closed due to weather we will do the best we can to work with the facilities manager to schedule a make up date. However, please understand that that may not always be possible.
