  • 2014 Non BR Travel Team - General / Individual Recruiting Camps

    We have put together a list of tournaments for individuals who are wanting to try and play more in front of college coaches outside of what we already do with our travel teams. These tournaments often require a coaches recommendation. If you have an interest in attending one of the tournaments please let us know.

    Summer 2014 Individual Recruiting Camps


    Max Eilte 100 - Upper Arlington High School, Upper Arlington, OH.

    Dates: June 9 - 11, 2014

    Description: The Max Elite 100 camp was patterned after Jake Reed's Blue Chip camp in Baltimore.  Max Elite100 Lacrosse Camp invites 100 of the best rising seniors  in the Midwest for a three day playing experience. Max Elite 100 also invites rising juniors from Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Michigan to play in a one day tournament in front of the college coaches in attendance.

    The camp was designed to give players in the Midwest an opportunity to perform in front of college coaches.  The 2012 camp attracted more than 40 college coaches from all three divisions.  The teams are coached by college coaches.  Players must be nominated by a coach (high school or college) to be considered for camp.  Upper Arlington High School has been the host each of the past five years.  The Events Coordinators are Lisa and Phil Drake and the camp is directed by Ted and Bill Wolford.

    Top 205 - Towson University, Towson, MD.

    205 Rising Seniors: June 27-30, 2014
    205 Rising Juniors: June 1- July 4, 2014
    205 Rising Sophs: June 23-26, 2014

    Description: This camp has been developed to challenge the top high school players. 205 Rising Seniors Camp is designed as a recruiting camp for those players going into their senior year. In previous years the camp has filled as early as the beginning of January. Even with two camp sessions, we have to turn down numerous players who apply late or who are recommended late. If you get turned down for this camp, they also have 205 West as another opportunity.

    Elite 180
    - Keene State College, Keene, NH.

    Dates: June 25-27, 2014

    Description: Elite 180 is put on by top academic institutions, including several schools from the Ivy League and the NESCAC. The goal is to bring in top student-athletes and give them an opportunity to get in front of schools who have high academics.

    Peak 200
    - Springfield College, Springfield, Mass.

    Dates: June 30 - July 2, 2014

    Description: The Peak 200 Lacrosse Camp is a focused, competitive program designed to provide the best possible advanced coaching and playing experience for the nation’s most exceptional secondary school players. Each player will be on a team with its own complete coaching staff and will be exposed to individual, position and team training. Emphasis will be placed on advanced techniques, tactics and strategies from some of the top coaches in the country.

    New England Top 150
    - Portsmouth, RI

    3 Sessions
    Session I: July 2-4, 2014
    Session II: July 5-7, 2014
    Session III: July 8-10, 2014

    Description: The New England Lacrosse Camp Top 150 will provide the experienced high school player with excellent competition and advanced coaching techniques. Each player will have the opportunity to improve their individual techniques and tactical knowledge and to compete against strong competition. Over 50 Colleges are in attendance providing student/athletes an opportunity to meet college coaches.

    Blue Chip 225
    Location: Bryant University, Smithfield, RI.

    Rising Seniors: June 30 - July 3, 2014
    Rising Juniors: July 7 - 10, 2014
    Rising Sophs: July 14 - 17, 2014

    Description: Blue Chip Lacrosse LLC was founded in 1998 by President and Managing Director, Ted Spencer and has quickly established itself as one of the premier recruiting camps in the country. Now at its fourth year at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island Blue Chip 225 has brought great exposure to its campus with top players from around the country. Last year, approximately 1350 prospective college bound student-athlete’s representing 38 states around the USA and three provinces of Canada attended the Blue Chip Showcases to display their talents on the field to college coaches. Campers have traveled as far as England and Hawaii to attend. Last summer’s showcases featured three separate sessions for Rising Sophomores, Rising Juniors and Rising Seniors.

    Catholic Challenge
    - Kellenberg Memorial High School, Uniondale, NY.

    Dates: July TBD - In 2013 it was July 13-14.

    Description: The Catholic Challenge is a new camp put on by three of the top head coaches in Division 1, Andy Copelan (Fairfield), Joe Amplo (Marquette), and Kevin Warne (Georgetown). This gives players who are interested in attending a catholic school a chance to play in front several coaches from catholic programs. This is more of a team camp but they are also putting together a team of free agents so if you would want to attend you can try and get added to their free agent roster.

    Good to Great Lacrosse Showcase - Amherst College, Amherst, Mass.

    Dates: July 13 - 15, 2014

    Description: We here at Amherst focus on individual enhanced skill development as a staple of our program. You will learn how to develop your offensive and defensive arsenal from some of the nation's best coaches. Your development of advanced skills, will only be enhanced by your opportunity to showcase your skills in front of one of the best coaching staff's in the country. Attention to detail with both tactical and technical development is paramount to our staff. A minimum of 5 games plus an ALL STAR game are guaranteed.

    Southern States Elite Lacrosse Camp -
    Washington College (Chestertown, MD)

    Dates: July 26 - 27, 2014

    Description: The Southern States Elite Lacrosse Camp is an instructional recruiting weekend. Players will have a chance to showcase their skills for college coaches through instructional practices conducted by college coaches, followed by four games with sanctioned referees. Players will be placed on a team that will be coached by one college coach. This camp will also include a college admissions program, run by a Washington College Admissions Staff Member.

    The college admissions program will cover topics such as what to expect when applying to college and how to prepare properly. Players will also attend a strength and conditioning/weight lifting session. This camp was the first of its kind in the southern states and once again received great reviews last year!
