Travel Team Tournament Refund / Cancelation Policy
Playing Time Policy
We do not take players to tournaments so that they can sit or help with our finances. If you were selected for the team, you have talent and you need to showcase that talent. To that end, all players who attend a tournament play in the games. Game time is normally allocated in a fairly even manner with all players rotating in and out during the course of a game. The exception to this is in the last quarter of close games / games with a tough opponent at recruiting tournaments when we have to win to move on. Under those circumstances playing time will not be evenly distributed.
You are considered to be an ambassador for both Burning River Lacrosse (specifically) and Northern Ohio lacrosse (in general). Therefore, all normal team travel rules are in effect concerning your behavior and actions and the resulting consequences (if you do not know what these rules are ask first). Please be aware of the following rules:
2017 Midwest Classic
The Midwest Classic will take place at the Resolute Athletic Complex in Columbus Ohio on Saturday February 18 and Sunday February 19, 2017. The RAC is located at 3599 Chiller Lane, Columbus, OH 43219. The event is a 2 day box tournament against some of the nations best box teams.
Fields: indoor turf - bring sneakers
2017 Midwest Classic - USBOXLA Sanctioned
All Participants Must have a US BOX lacrosse number in order to participate. NO EXCEPTIONS !
If you do not have a USBOXLA Number you need to go to http://membership.usboxla.com and apply for one.
The actual tournament format / schedule will be released in January. The general schedule is below.

All Players – Should meet the coaches at the field of their first game 1 hour minutes prior to the start.
Lodging - There Is No Hotel For This Tournament
There will be no team travel arrangements for this tournament. All players are staying with their parents. We ask that you treat the hotel staff with every courtesy so that they will welcome us back next year
We ask that parents have their sons in bed early enough that they will get at least 8 hours of sleep before the games on Saturday and Sunday. Please remember that your son being tired impacts everyone on the team (line mates, etc.), not just him.
Transportation / Directions - There Is No Bus For This Tournament
There will be no team travel arrangements for this tournament. Therefore, players are responsible for their own transportation to and from the tournaments.
Any player needing a ride should contact Coach Calleri immediately. He will help arrange carpools. Any player/parent willing to help out with carpooling should also contact coach Calleri so that he will know where we have room in cars. Thank you for your understanding with this matter.

Tournament Meals - You Must Bring Money For Food As It Is Not Included
No meals are provided at the tournament.
During both tournament days, Donatos Pizza and Schmidt's Sausage will be offering food at the RAC. There are plenty of dining and shopping options immediately surrounding the facility in the Easton Town Center area for your enjoyment.
Please plan accordingly and bring a brown bag lunch or money to run out and buy food with between games.
What To Bring
