2018 BR / Ohio Machine Clinics
Burning River Lacrosse's camps have a limited refund policy. Camp fee refunds will only be granted on the basis of medical emergencies / conditions. All refund requests must be in writing and a letter / documentation from the doctor / hospital of record must accompany the request verifying the medical emergency / condition. Refund requests will be charged a $25 paperwork fee and be prorated based on when they are received.

Burning River Lacrosse and the Ohio Machine are teaming up to bring you a series of clinics on Sunday January 28, 2018. The event will feature seven 60 minute instructional clinics.

Bear Davis – Head Coach & GM Ohio Machine
Bear Davis is entering his fifth season with the Machine. Davis, a Hilliard High School alum, joined the Machine on June 24, 2013, when he was named the second head coach in club history. He was promoted to a General Manager role for the Machine on August 20, 2016. In 2017, Davis led the Machine to a MLL championship with at 17-12 win over Denver.
Prior to joining the Machine full-time, Davis was the head boy’s lacrosse coach and associate athletic director at Archbishop Spalding High School (Md.). Davis took over at Archbishop Spalding after building the men’s lacrosse program at Robert Morris University over the span of seven seasons as the program’s first-ever head coach. Robert Morris led the NCAA in scoring offense for two straight seasons under Davis.
Prior to Robert Morris, Davis helped start the Wheeling Jesuit men’s lacrosse program and guided the Cardinals to a No. 10 national ranking in 2003.
In addition to his responsibilities as the head coach, Davis is instrumental in expanding the Machine’s ticket sales and community relations efforts. In addition to handling the Ohio Machine, Davis will also be serving as the Vice President of Community Relations, heading COYLL (Central Ohio Youth Lacrosse League). Davis took over COYLL in 2016 and is excited to continue his improvement to the game of lacrosse throughout the Midwest.

Sunday January 28, 2018 - Clinic is at the Royalton Fieldhouse in North Royalton. The Complex is located at 10701 Royalton Road, North Royalton, Ohio 44133.
Directions to the field are under the directions tab.
The fields are sportsturf (black pellets). Plan accordingly.
Burning River does not provide medical insurance. All players must have their own medical insurance.
Burning River WAIVERS & OHIO Concussion Form (Signed during registration)
You will electronically sign all the needed waivers / forms (BR Lax and State of Ohio concussion information waiver *) during the registration process.
* The State Of Ohio past Ohio law (ORC 3707.511) which requires all youth sports organization to provide a concussion information document to the parent / guardian of all individuals who participate in any of their athletic activities. The information is available by Clicking Here and during the registration process.
