2012 Meals - You Must Bring Money For Food As It Is Not Included In The Tournament Package

The tournament DOES NOT provide any meals. We made arrangements for breakfast on Sunday morning for the players in the Residence Inn. The players at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott are with their parents and on their own for Sunday breakfast.

All other meals are not built in to the trip.  Therefore, the kids need to bring money to pay for their meals.  We will try to do combined meals (pizza, etc) to hold costs down.  Please plan accordingly. The reason for the lack of team meals is that the teams are playing at conflicting times during the tournament. Therefore players should plan on visiting the concession stand during the tournament. (each team's actual meal times will depend on their game schedule).

    • Water Bottles. Water will be provided on every field, but not water bottles.

    • Money: not too much, but enough for pizzas at night, drinks during the day, etc. from the concession stand, which will be located by the fields.

2012 Video - Select and Rising Teams

We have made arrangements with a professional videographer to video our games at this tournament.  Each player can receive a copy of up to two (2) of those games on DVD (2 DVDs).  We have done this to help with your college recruiting since every college coach is going to ask you for a DVD to determine if you are someone they want to recruit.  This way you have DVDs to send that:

    • are professionally done
    • are against known national teams (coaches don’t have to guess if the team you are playing is any good).
    • highlight solid fundamental skills, athleticism and team play.

The cost of these two DVDs is included in the cost of the tournament.  Additional DVDs are $10 each.

    Your play on the tapes
Everything you do (good or bad) at these games is on the DVDs.  If you chase sticks on defense it is there.  If you did not hustle after a GB it is there.  If you caught a pass off your helmet it is there.  The same holds true for all our opponents players.  In addition, they do not get to make a decision as to whether or not these DVDs are going to be sent out to college coaches.  All their good and bad plays are being sent to the college coaches whether they want the coaches to see it or not.

You need to remember this when you are playing this Summer.  You never know who is taping a game or who is in the stands.  You do not know where they are going to send the DVD.  Therefore always play to your full potential.  More players than you can imagine are “discovered” by a coach watching a tape of someone else (I get these phone calls every year).  On the other side more than a few players each year have coaches lose interest in them after watching a tape of them that someone else sent.

Take advantage of the first situation and make sure the 2nd never happens to you.
