Fall League

• I like that the coaches have actually played lacrosse and know what they are teaching. I also appreciate that the coaches will say good job or this is how you can do this better to the kids during the game. (Fall 2010)

2010 Travel Team Commentary

  • select kids based on ability and character
  • choose the “right tournament” to get exposure and help the player develop
  • work doggedly to help a player get recruited
  • divide playing time up based on everyone getting a chance to show their skills equally

• As a parent / coach I look for these key actions for all the players; 1) Coaching instruction before and during the game.  On several occasions I saw the coaches immediately grab the kids and explain how they could have done better in a situation or a better way to position themselves.  Great job. 2) Fair playing time.  I think the playing time for all positions was as even as it could have been.  Great job. 3) Structure.  I sincerely appreciate you getting in the boys rear ends when the hotel was not left as you requested.  These guys come from all walks of life but respect and being of good character has no immunities.  Great job."
