Boys Travel Team Overview
Since inception our travel teams have consistently finished at the top of the tournaments we competed in.
Overall, our Boys teams have won 77 Nat'l Tournament Championships (76 Field / 1 Box) & been a Finalist 31x.
For the past 19 years, Burning River / True has proudly provided players and families across Northern Ohio with a premier club lacrosse experience. As a nationally recognized, elite program, we are committed to developing fundamental skills and game knowledge that empower our athletes to excel on their town, school, and summer travel teams.
We believe in supporting, never competing with, local programs. That’s why we do not operate spring teams that conflict with school or community schedules, nor do we encourage players to leave their hometown teams.
Our success is rooted in a steadfast commitment to player development. Our coaches dedicate significant time during practices and games to work closely with athletes, helping them grow both their technical abilities and lacrosse IQ. As a result, players return to their school and community teams better prepared to contribute and lead.
We are now seeking the most dedicated and talented players in Northern Ohio to join our nationally recognized True travel teams.

Registration Is Open To All Boys for Evaluations For Summer of 2026 Travel Teams.
Registration is now open for all boys from grad years 2027 through 2034 to register for True Lacrosse Evaluations.

Tryouts for our State, All-Region, and National teams will be held in Columbus, Ohio on the following dates:

Saturday, August 2 – Middle School and Youth Teams (Graduation Years 2030, 2031, 2032, and 2033)

Sunday, August 3 – High School Teams (Graduation Years 2027, 2028, and 2029)
These highly competitive teams attract top talent from across Ohio—players who are committed to developing at the highest level and pursuing opportunities to play collegiate lacrosse, including NCAA Division I and top Division II and III programs.

Our Local and State teams are designed for driven athletes who want to compete at a high level within the region while continuing to build their fundamental skills and lacrosse IQ. These teams provide a strong foundation for players aiming to lead their school or community teams to greater success, as well as those aspiring to play at the NCAA Division II or III level.
