National Girls Skills Development Clinic
On Sunday, June 1, 2025, True Lacrosse is hosting the National Girls 2025 Skills Development Clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event is an elite training event designed to elevate the skills and lacrosse IQ of players across the region.
This exclusive clinic will be led by Ricky Fried, the former U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach (2009–2017) and current True Girls National Program Director. Players will receive top-tier instruction from one of the most respected names in the sport, gaining insights and techniques used at the highest levels of competition.
Goalies - Jess Wilk will be working with the goalies. Wilk had a standout career with the U.S. National Team, playing on the 1993, 1997, 2001 and 2005 World Cup teams, serving as a team captain in 1997, 2001 & 2005. Wilk won three World Cup Championships with the U.S. Team and was named to the All-World Team following the 2005 World Cup. Prior to that she played at the University of Marylanda where she was a member of the 1986 NCAA Division I national championship team and served as team captain in 1990.
This clinic also serves as an evaluation opportunity for those interested in earning a spot on the True Girls National Teams—elite rosters composed of top players from over 10 states. These teams compete at premier national recruiting events and offer access to unparalleled coaching, exposure, and development.
The sessions are open to all players from graduation years 2026 through 2033 on a first come, first served basis.
